My Local Legends is here to help support the community by creating a platform for the arts. Everything from music to art exhibits. We plan to support the community in every way. When hosting an event, we will be using vendors from the surrounding areas by hiring various food trucks and catering from local restaurants. We plan to have live music from local artists, performance art and art exhibits!
All of our events are going to be focused around local artists. When someone approaches My Local Legends with the intent to bring an out of state artist, our question will be “How are you planning to support our local community?” The expectation will be to pick local artists to support the act.
The intention for this space is to allow artists to express themselves. Be it painting, performance, comedy, or acting, My Local Legends wants to help our community expand in a way that has not been available before. Theaters have been historically expensive. By having a smaller location, we’re able to cut down the cost and allow these artists a jump start to their dreams.
When hosting these events, we will ask the promoters who are intending on supporting their event (food, merchandise and other vendors). If the promoter does not have vendors in mind, we will help them find vendors that suit their needs.
